Some things you can do. Register with isrr.org, register here on adoption.com. One thing that I did that I was not aware that could be done is to find the state dept of record or where they have birth records and see if you can get a listing of all births for the year in question with the mothers...

I have the very same situation. My daughter is 32, and I have just found her.Not contacted her as of yet. What is the right thing to do is a tuff question. Maybe a letter or a call to the birth mother would be ok. In my case I can say I wish I had not lost so much time,john p

Respect her wishes. I would send a card to her for her b-day or some other occation. Maybe once a year. The best thing to do however is to honor her request. john p
